X Factor's Seann Miley Moore: 'The only label should be the Versace on your jacket'

Since wowing the judges in his first audition with an emotional rendition of Queen’s ‘The Show Must Go On’, Seann Miley Moore has quickly become of The X Factor’s most fascinating contestants in quite some time.

The Australian diva’s live performances have been every bit as fierce as his look and helped saw him sail through to the last six of Nick Grimshaw’s Boy category during last night’s Six Chair Challenge, and Seann says he’s happy to just be himself without labels.

Speaking to DigitalSpy about a new generation of stars like Miley Cyrus and Orange Is the New Black‘s Ruby Rose who refuse to conform to traditional gender roles and labels, the 24-year-old rejected the idea of labelling himself, saying: “I think it’s great. In today’s world, we shouldn’t be labelling and polarising – are you gay, straight, man, woman? There’s a whole world in between, let us be.”

“I’ve got such amazing friends and family – we’re just doing our thing and just having fun, being ourselves without any labels.

“The only label should be the Versace on the back of your jacket! It’s fabulous, it’s the new normal.”

Prior to his first audition the aspiring young singer had said: “It has been a journey to get to this point, A couple of years ago I was too scared to be me, I was afraid of what people would think and say and coming to the X Factor you have to be real.

“I am not afraid anymore.”

Seann’s eye-catching outfits were back on display earlier today when he made a guest appearance on ITV’s This Morning with fellow X Factor alumnus Rylan Clark. One thing’s for sure, if he makes the final 12 those live performances are really going to be something…
