You need to see Adam Lambert’s yearbook photo and quote
By Will Stroude
Almost a decade before the runner-up appearance on the eight season of American Idol that propelled him into the spotlight, Adam Lambert was a senior dreaming of superstardom at Mount Carmel High School in San Diego.
We’re not sure how, but one keen fan has unearthed the old Mount Carmel Class of 2000 yearbook, offering a prophetic look at one the world’s now most famous gay stars.
The tweet picked up by Idolator shows the former Attitude cover star’s senior yearbook picture, which shows the then 18-year-old looking almost unrecognisable from the carefully-quiffed star of today.
AWWWW! and LOL!!!!!!

The yearbook also contains a quote from the Ghosttown singer about his dreams for the future, and it seems like they turned out pretty well for the now 33-year-old star.
“I’m pretty convinced I’ll be doing something in the arts, since that is what has pre-occupied my every waking moment for the last four years, or at least those I have been awake for.”, Lambert wrote.
“Speaking of which, I plan to get more sleep and get a job that does not require me to be awake at too early an hour”.
With a pop star’s schedule he’s probably not getting much of that these days, but at least he’s halfway there.
Meanwhile, Lambert definitely has a fan in one Mr Robbie Williams, who spent the weekend gushing about the “really, really beautiful” singer on the radio – click here to find out more.
