Zac Efron: ‘I’ll go shirtless if I win MTV Movie Award’

Zac Efron has promised that he will take to the stage shirtless if he wins the MTV Movie Award for Best Shirtless Performance this weekend.
Our favourite High School Musical alumni faces tough competition from Chris Hemsworth, who lost his shirt in Marvel’s Thor sequel.
Last month, he tweeted: “If I beat Thor- I’m accepting the award shirtless on stage. #movieawards”
Despite reiterating that the tweet was intended as a joke, Efron has now told MTV that he will go through with it if he wins, saying: “Now I have to. I’m a man of my word. If I win, I’ll do it.”
Zac’s shirtless scenes in That Awkward Moment – which you can see more of here – earned him the nomination, alongside Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), Leonardo DiCaprio (The Wolf of Wall Street) and somewhat unlikely nominee Jennifer Aniston (We’re the Millers).
