Zac Efron joins Tinder, no one swipes right

By Fabio Crispim

You’d think hunky Zac Efron wouldn’t have a problem finding matches on Tinder, but apparently he did.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Efron reveals that he joined the dating app but no one swiped right for him.

“Amazingly, when i signed up for Tinder, nobody swiped me. They thought [my profile] was fake.”

The Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates star, who broke up with girlfriend Sami Miro in April, explained:

“Dating is something I’ll never be able to do. As in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another I’ve impacted that person’s life and they’ll soon realise it. A date has to be very long to dispel whatever people think of me.”

Efron isn’t shy about showing his body off in films and in the interview, he reveals why he does it so much.

“I want to earn the evolution,” he says. “To earn something, you’ve got to go all out. Take your shirt off. Know you’re a douchebag. Make an idiot of yourself. Then reap the benefits. What you get by doing this is street cred, then you get to work with great directors. I need to meet somebody face-to-face, then I can earn that dramatic cool role, that good role.”

Well, no matter what, we’d swipe right for you Zac!
