Zachary Quinto: ‘I’m not a huge fan of gay or straight marriage’
By Josh Haggis

Zachary Quinto has revealed that he’s not a fan of marriage, whether it’s gay or straight.
When asked whether marriage and children are something he wants in life, the I Am Michael actor told The Hollywood Reporter that “superimposing an institution” on love “isn’t the most exciting” idea for him.
“I personally am not a huge fanatic of marriage, whether it’s gay or straight. Commitment and relationships are a very individual thing, and I don’t stand to tell other people what to do or who to do it with, but for me, love is defined by two people in an intimate and personal way, and superimposing an institution on that isn’t necessarily, for me, the most exciting idea,” said Quinto.
Despite his feelings toward marriage, Quinto went on to praise the progress the US has made over the past year in terms of marriage equality.
“But then again, the fact that we’ve made such progress and marriage equality is very, very near and tangible and hopefully right around the corner — that frames it a little bit differently for me.”
“It’s something I have been an advocate for and a fighter for in the past eight years. I want to see that continue. And maybe there will come a day when it makes perfect sense for me personally. We’ll see. I don’t think either of us feel that we have to hurry up and do this,” he added (Who’s he referrring to with ‘either of us’? He doesn’t say, but Quinto has been dating model Miles McMillan).
Meanwhile, the first picture of Quinto’s threesome scene with James Franco and Charlie Carver in I Am Michael was unveiled recently – check it out there.
