Zachary Quinto to get naked on ‘Girls’, hints Lena Dunham

creator Lena Dunham has hinted that Zachary Quinto may be required to get naked when he appears on the HBO comedy next year.

The Star Trek actor recently signed up to appear in at least one episode of the show’s fourth season – but HBO has yet to reveal anything about the character he will be playing.

Dunham, who writes and directs Girls as well as starring as Hannah, was asked recently whether Quinto will bare all during his upcoming guest appearance.

“I mean, it’s Girls, so you can assume what you will. I also want to see him naked — that’s all you need to know for now. I can tell you nothing except that he is as amazing onscreen as he is off,” Dunham told E! News.

“He is so much fun to work with and the minute that camera is on he’s an actor with such a gift and such a gift for comedy,” she added.

Other guest stars lined up for the fourth season of Girls include Orange Is the New Black’s Natasha Lyonne, Community’s Gillian Jacobs and Jason Ritter. Girls has previously featured cameos from actors including Richard E Grant, Chris O’Dowd, Rita Wilson and Patrick Wilson.

All of the main cast are returning for the show’s fourth season, which is set to debut on HBO in January 2015. In the UK, Girls airs on Sky Atlantic.
