Zoolander 2 teaser trailer debuts online

Derek Zoolander fans have been given a teaser trailer of the forthcoming and highly anticipated sequel to Zoolander.

Dubbed 200Lander, the two-minute trailer features Ben Stiller, who steps back into the director’s chair while also reprising the titular role made famous in the 2001 comedy.

Tracing the evolution of life across an existentialist inspired sequence, and narrated by a Stephen Hawking-styled voice over, the trailer quickly cuts to Zoolander, who in all of his Blue Steel-inspired splendour asks “If God exists, then why did he make ugly people?”

Set roughly 14 years after its predecessor, the sequel sees Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell and Christine Taylor all returning to their roles, alongside a string of celebrity cameos including Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Lewis Hamilton.

200Lander is scheduled for release to cinemas in February 2016. Check out the trailer below:
