Madonna announces second London date for global tour
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna has said.
Madonna fans – we have news!
“Due to overwhelming pre-sale demand,” Madonna has announced that she will be adding a second show at London’s O2 Arena to her upcoming world tour.
As well as the originally announced performance on Saturday 14 October, Madonna will also be performing on Sunday 15 October.
The 64-year-old ‘Vogue’ singer announced Madonna: The Celebration Tour on Tuesday (17 January). The tour will celebrate the singer’s most iconic hits from the last 40 years.
Hitting 35 cities around the world along the way, starting in Vancouver and ending in Amsterdam, Madonna will also be joined by none other than Bob the Drag Queen.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna has said in a statement.
Madonna announced the tour with a video paying tribute to her groundbreaking film, Truth or Dare. It features names such as Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Bob The Drag Queen, Kate Berlant, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, and Eric Andre.
Tickets for both London performances will go on sale at 10am on Friday 20 January. They can be purchased at madonna.com/tour as well as Ticketmaster.
