"If you say one more bad thing about me on your show, you're gonna get in so much trouble," the star joked.

Madonna has cheekily called out US TV host Andy Cohen during a concert in Brooklyn, part of her global ‘The Celebration Tour‘.

Performing at the packed Barclays Center on Saturday night (16 December), Madonna spotted Cohen sitting front row and decided to give him a shout-out.

“If you say one more bad thing about me on your show, you’re gonna get in so much trouble,” joked Madonna from onstage, wielding a pink cowboy hat. “You little troublemaking queen!”

Madonna was referring to Cohen’s popular late night talk show Watch What Happens Live, where he has apparently made several negative comments about the queen of pop over the years. Cohen appeared thrilled by Madonna’s call-out, however, mouthing “I love you” back at her.

Later, Cohen posted about the humorous moment on Instagram, declaring: “I’m a lifelong Madonna fan, so it’s a thrill and honour to be called a ‘troublemaking queen’ by the Queen of Troublemaking herself.” He also urged fans to catch Madonna’s new tour, calling the show “mind-blowing.”

Cancelled biopic star joins Madonna onstage

Madonna bringing Cohen into her performance follows the appearance of actress Julia Garner in the Thursday night Brooklyn concert. Garner had been cast as Madonna in a scrapped biopic of the singer’s life. Nonetheless, Garner joined the singer onstage in the show’s voguing segment.

Madonna is now on the North American leg of her The Celebration Tour. After kicking off in London this October, Madonna brought the show stateside last week for a string of Brooklyn gigs. She said from the Barclays Center stage that she was lucky to be performing after a serious health scare earlier this year landed her in hospital.

With her children and famous friends popping up each night, Madonna’s concerts have doubled as A-list gatherings. Attendees spotted so far include Scarlett Johansson, Donatella Versace, and Drew Barrymore. Madonna’s tour continues hopping around North America until April, when it wraps up in Mexico City.
