Kylie Minogue and ALOK drop new single and music video ‘Last Night I Dreamt I Fell in Love’
The dance track is the first release from Minogue since her most recent album Tension II, released on the eve of her kicking off the Tension Tour

The Kylie-aissance remains in full swing as just today the popstar has dropped a brand new single, a collaboration with Brazilian DJ and producer ALOK.
The shimmering dance track is Minogue’s first release since her most recent studio album Tension II, which spawned the singles ‘Lights, Camera, Action’, ‘Someone For Me’ and her collaboration with The Blessed Madonna, ‘Edge of Saturday Night’.
ALOK explained the collaboration between the pair arose after he remixed one of Minogue’s signature tracks. “In 2021, I remixed ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’ during a live set with my brother Bhaskar, and the response was amazing.
“Now, I’ve had the chance to do something truly unique alongside Kylie—a vibrant and electrifying pop ballad. In my opinion, Last Night I Dreamt I Fell in Love captures Kylie’s signature dance vibe while also reflecting my exploration of sounds that blend different genres.”
Minogue was equally effusive about the project, saying: “I woke up one morning with the title and idea for this song … it’s amazing to be literally sharing my dreams with you all. I had such a fun day in the studio with my fellow writers and now ALOK has worked his magic and I’m so happy to be releasing this track with him.”
“Happy Valentine’s Day!” the ‘Love At First Sight’ songstress added.
Also dropping today is the accompanying music video directed by Sophie Muller, with whom Kylie has worked nearly exclusively since the video for 2018’s ‘Dancing’. She is also the maestro behind classic videos like Gwen Stefani’s ‘Cool’, Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ and Shakespeare Sister’s ‘Stay.

It’s a busy week for Minogue who tomorrow will kick off her long-awaited Tension Tour in Perth. It is her first major tour since the Golden Tour finished in 2019. Although little is known about what fans can expect from the concert, we are sure it will feature an array of the star’s previous hits as well as selections from both volumes of Tension.
