Asia O’Hara slays Whitney’s ‘I’m Every Woman’ for Attitude Pride At Home
The 'Drag Race' legend came to slay with two killer performances at Attitude Pride at Home
Asia O’Hara took the word “sickening” to a whole new level with two epic lip-syncing performances, as part of Attitude Pride at Home.
Earlier today [Sunday], the Drag Race favourite satisfied appetites (and then some) during Henry Holland’s Drag Brunch, supported by Slingsby to benefit Frontline Aids.
The Texan star – who came this close to snatching the crown on season 10 – delivered a blast from the past with The Buggles’ classic, ‘Video Killed the Radio Star.’ Sing it with us: “Oh, a, oh!”
Giving us retro vibes, the video is packed with nifty nostalgic nods and references to the ’70s and ’80s, including a cameo appearance from Pac-Man.
Proving that more really is more, at various points multiple versions of O’Hara fill the screen – reminding us, once and for all, that she has the whitest teeth in herstory.
Asia, 37, also paid tribute to music legend Whitney Houston with a spectacular lip-sync number to ‘I’m Every Woman.’
Fans will be be relieved to hear that no butterflies were harmed during the production of either video.
O’Hara was joined on the menu by Drag Race sisters Gigi Goode and Baga Chipz, while fellow queens Asttina Mandella and Mahatma Kandhi hosted a high-value raffle, in support of Frontline Aids.
