Australian news broadcaster and presenter, Hamish MacDonald has publicly comes out.
The 38-year-old journalist – who is best known for co-hosting The Project – has worked for a number of news channels including Channel 4, TV, Al Jazeera English and Network Ten.
Although his partner, Jacob Fitzroy, had appeared on his Instagram page in a number of posts back in April, the news presenter never publicly announced his relationship or discussed his sexuality.
However, while attending the GQ Gentlemen’s Ball in Melbourne, MacDonald and Fitzroy were photographed on the red carpet holding hands.
Following the event, MacDonald posted the image on his Instagram account simply with a heart emoji caption.
