Brighton Pride 2021 theme ‘Over the Rainbow’ to honour NHS, key workers and LGBTQ groups
Brighton Pride will return with a message of positivity from 6-8 August 2021.

Brighton Pride may have been postponed until next year, denying us the opportunity to see Mariah Carey’s first ever Pride performance this August (curse you, coronavirus), but organisers have promised a fitting tribute to current world events when the event returns.
Organisers have revealed that the theme for next year’s Pride parade – set to take place on Saturday 7 August 2021 – will be ‘Over the Rainbow’, honouring the NHS, key workers, and the LGBTQ community groups that are currently working to keep us all safe.

“The Parade will highlight the terrific work and sacrifice made by NHS and key frontline workers as well as the essential community organisations that provide so much support throughout the year”, a statement from organisers reads.
“It will also be a special year for Brighton & Hove Pride, as we will celebrate thirty years of campaigning, protest and a celebration of diversity in our great city.”
Brighton Pride, which has raised close to £1million for local community groups over the last six years, will also see the return of the Fabuloso – Pride on the Park festival in Preston Park on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August 2021.
