Charlie King is scared of the gay dating scene
The TOWIE star has just come out of a serious relationship

Charlie King has admitted he is “scared” of the gay dating scene.
The personal trainer and The Only Way is Essex star came out as gay back in 2014 and was linked to a number of celebrities including Sam Smith, however, his first serious same-sex relationship ended at the beginning of the year, and the reality TV star admitted he doesn’t “have a clue” about dating.
He told FUBAR Radio: “It took a long time to get there, and even to admit it was what I wanted.
“Just to connect with someone, I always thought it would never happen. Now it’s ended… I realised, ‘Oh my God, I don’t have a clue about dating’.
“The gay world scares me, I’m going to be honest. A lot of guys are very forward. I’m quite reserved.”
The reality TV star also admitted he messaged Britain’s Got Talent star Calum Scott but the relationship didn’t blossom.
He said: “I said, ‘I’m sorry I didn’t get to speak to you tonight. You’re looking very well!’
“When he said, ‘Have a good day tomorrow’, I thought, ‘Oh, he’s not interested. I don’t know’.”
