Daniel Brocklebank: ‘Does no one catch a movie before sex anymore?’

By Josh Haggis

Corrie’s

new gay vicar has stripped off for Attitude’s latest Naked Issue.

Alongside his revealing new shoot, Daniel Brocklebank chats with us about safe sex, prejudice in the workplace and which male celeb’s body he likes most – here’s a clue, it’s a fellow Naked Issue star.

When asked about gay dating apps, the actor argued that they are killing off romance, explaining that although he “loves sex” he wants something more from a partner.

“They’re all about sex. Don’t get me wrong. I love sex, but I much prefer when it means something with someone I care about,” Brocklebank told us.

“Does no one grab a coffee or a movie before getting naked any more? Before I joined Corrie, I tried a few of the apps and found quickly that they weren’t for me. I’m holding out for one of those movie moments in a cafe where our eyes meet over a steaming latte on a rainy day,” he added.

You can read the full interview with Daniel, and pore over his stunning new naked shoot, in the new issue of Attitude – the Naked Issue – which is available to download to your mobile, iPad or tablet device now, at Pocketmags.com/Attitude.

Over 30 guys – including TOWIE’s Charlie King, Dan Osborne, Eastenders’ Davood Ghadami and Apprentice stars James Hill and Sanjay Sood-Smith – have stripped off over almost 100 pages as part of our #getnakedbesafe safe sex campaign, and you can take a peek at what they’ve got in store for you with ourexclusive teaser video.

We also speak to Newsnight and Dragon’s Den host Evan Davis in his first ever gay press interview, where he discusses the state of British politics ahead of May’s general election and being one of the most prominent gay men on TV.

The issue is out now in stores, and you can also have it delivered directly to your door at newsstand.co.uk.

And remember, #getnakedbesafe.
