Lawrence Chaney, the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race series two, is here to help us learn the finer points of multi-tasking.
The current reigning queen (sorry Queen Elizabeth II, not you!) stars in a three-part series, Lawrence Chaney: Unfolded, where the Drag Queen of Scots will shift from her day-to-day self and her drag persona to discuss the differences between the two.
The online series – commissioned by Samsung – follows research into how Brits shift personality throughout the day based on our environments.
“Flipping fun, darling”
In the series, Chaney discusses how multitasking is as difficult as learning how to walk in heels revealing both the Lawrence Chaney vs Lawrence Maidment sides to her personality, in and out of drag. This, she says, makes her ideal to teach us how to juggle our lives.
Of the series, Lawrence says: “Being a drag queen requires a lot of multitasking. So, if I could do my part with Samsung KX to help people follow in my footsteps and get themselves into multitasking mode, then we’ve done some good.”
In a tweet, Lawrence Chaney encouraged people to find out if they’re a flip or fold type person by taking Samsung’s Digital DNA test, which she says is “flipping fun darling”.

The series features tips and tricks from the comedy queen on how to identify, implement and master the art of multitasking in your everyday life.
Her top five tips are:
– Stick at it – Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do with your life and don’t take no for an answer
– Stay in control – Make sure you prepare and know what you’re doing before you do it
– Be flexible – Say yes to everything that comes your way
– Be the best you can – Don’t be closed-minded and remember that not everyone is out to get you
– There’s no need to conform – There’s no such thing as normal, be yourself
The online series was commissioned by Samsung KX to launch the Digital DNA Test – a new experience featuring the new Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 devices – that gives visitors the chance to identify their digital personas. The test is open to the public and free of charge.
The series was created after research revealed that we Brits can express up to nine different personalities in a day. 92% of adults admit switching between numerous personalities over the course of a day depending on whether they are working, socialising, posting on social media, or spending time with their family.
