In pics | The Team GB hunks to look forward to at Rio 2016
By Ben Kelly
This week saw the unveiling of the new Team GB kit for the 2016 Rio Olympics, and naturally many people were immediately drawn to Tom Daley and his pants, which were shunted to the front of the photo op.
But, more of you still were curious as to the identity of some of the other hunks on the sidelines of the event.
So, we decided to do some digging on the movers and shakers you can look forward to seeing a lot more of come August…
Tom Mitchell (Rugby)
Tom was the hunk on the other side of Mr Daley during yesterday’s photo call. He’s an England Sevens rugby player from Cuckfield who was the top points-scorer in the 2013/14 HSBC Sevens World Series. He’s one of 12 men competing for Team GB in the Rugby Sevens at Rio.

Joe Cordina and Qais Ashfaq (Boxing)
These boys have already claimed their Olympic spots after triumphing at the 2016 European Qualification Tournament in Samsun, Turkey.

Greg Rutherford (Athletics)
Greg doesn’t need much introduction. He’ll be hoping to repeat his gold success at London 2012 in the men’s long jump in Rio. A quick glance through his Instagram shows how hard he’s been working to get back into fit form for the games.

Lawrence Okolie (Boxing)
This Hackney born lad has already been called ‘the new star of British boxing’ and has punched his way into the final Rio 2016 line up.

Chris Walker Hebborn (Swimming)
A backstroker, Chris took gold at the British championships in 2014 and will be competing in the 4x100m medley relay in Rio.
Louis Smith (Gymnastics)
Alongside the equally handsome Max Whitlock, good old Louis is one of our biggest chances at Rio 2016 for gymnastics. He took a bronze at Beijing 2008 and a silver at London 2012. Will it be gold for Rio 2016? His Instagram certainly shows how well he can represent Team GB.
