Michael Phelps shows off his world-beating body in new advert

A new ad for the American sports brand Under Armour shows Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps going through his rigorous training regime, and it’s certainly inspiring us to get to the gym (even if it’s just to watch, mind).
The video, in which Phelps displays his rippling physique, shows him swimming solo, training in the gym, receiving sports therapy, eating his famous calorie loaded breakfast, and even asleep in bed.
The final plate of the trailer ad says: “It’s what you do in the dark that puts you in the light.”
The 30-year-old swimmer is the most decorated Olympian in history, having won a record 22 medals across Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. He has vowed that Rio 2016 will be his final Olympic bid – although he did make the same promise in 2012…
