Parry Glasspool strips off for Hollyoaks Q&A

It’s safe to say that we’re thoroughly enjoying Parry Glasspool’s increased camera time on recent episodes of Hollyoaks, as his character, sixth form student Harry Thompson, embarks on a secret affair with Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson).

Clearly, the team at Hollyoaks can sense our elation, and in a new Q&A with Parry over on Channel 4, the 23-year-old takes us a tour of the set, where answers some fan questions and inexplicably manages to shed some clothes in the process.

Asked what his favourite scenes to film have been, Parry says: “One, because it was quite challenging in a way for me, was a scene with me and Ste in the classroom. Let’s just call it a steamy scene.

“A lot of hands, a lot of action, a lot of topless-ness, that was good to do. It’s something new, it’s something good to do, and it’s pushing new boundaries for me.”

He added: “Kieron was nervous about it but I was like ‘Kieron, we’ve just got to go for it. You can’t just go halfway. I’ve got you, I’ll teach you through it, I’ll show you the path.”

Discussing Harry’s ongoing sexuality storyline, which is set to develop this week as Ste’s girlfriend Sinead O’Connor discovers the affair, he says: “I think Harry does worry about his sexuality. He doesn’t seem to worry about acting on it, because he’s chasing Ste down all the time [but] Harry has to keep it a secret from everyone, from Cleo, from Zack, definitely from his dad.

“So yeah, he’s very worried about it.”
