Queer collective Sink The Pink announce alternative lockdown pub quiz night
The UK’s biggest LGBTQ collective have teamed up with Wildcat Gin to create a virtual boozer with landlady Ginger Johnson for The BIG Pub Quiz.

We don’t know about you, but our lives feel incomplete these days if we get to the end of a week without having attempted at least one virtual quiz.
Trouble is, a lot of them are rather dry affairs – question-wise, that is; we’ve always got a glass of something wet on the go, fear not.
Luckily, LGBTQ collective Sink The Pink have dusted themselves off and put their heads together with Wildcat Gin to come up with the idea to create a virtual pub hosted by everyone’s favourite landlady, Ginger Johnson.
Ginger will be streaming live into living rooms from 7:30pm each Thursday as she hosts The BIG Pub Quiz, with a Wildcat G&T or two in hand and lashings of comedy and innuendo.
She’ll be heading up a “completely bonkers” interactive, alternative quiz with “weird and wonderful themes that promise to be camp, silly and downright fun”.
Punters will be in safe hands as Sink The Pink knows a thing or two about running a successful boozer – their purpose-built pub, The Queens Head, reigned supreme for a sold-out run in Selfridge’s basement in 2017.
Participants are encouraged to get dressed up to join in with the quiz, which will be hosted via Sink The Pink’s Instagram Live.
If, like us, your gin collection has been taking a bit of a battering over the last few weeks, bottles of Wildcat Gin will be up for grabs – but to win them, participants will have to get their creative thinking hats on for the final ‘Wildcat Round’, details of which remain under wraps until tomorrow night.
Speaking about the new weekly shenanigans, Sink The Pink co-founder Glyn Fussell said: “We’ve had to rip up the rule book to ensure we can still reach our amazing community away from the dance floor, especially those that are feeling a little isolated right now, to have some much needed fun!
“There’s no one better to bring our queer and wonderful world of Sink The Pink to life online, than our resident queen of stage and screen, Ginger Johnson.
“We’re proud to continue to work with Wildcat Gin, who have stuck by us and supported us and out amazing community in these challenging times.”
Wildcat Gin’s Kenny Nicholson added that the brand is proud to be working with Sink The Pink to provide “unforgettable experiences to help audiences bust lockdown boredom”.
To join in the fun, visit Sink The Pink’s Instagram account @sink_the_pink tomorrow (Thursday) night at 7:30pm, and make sure you’re following @Wildcat_Gin to be in with a chance of winning.
