On how he got into modelling, Ball says: “I was approached by the modelling agency PRM. I have always been an active person so I have always been in shape. I think keeping fit through rugby got me noticed. It is early days though; I don’t like to call myself a model just yet.”

He is seen wearing clothes from Topman’s new Sport range, which was launched by the high street brand at the beginning of summer.

On his training regime, Ball adds: “Well I work at Worthing College and they have a gym there. I use that after my shift about three times a week. Playing rugby does help it can be quite intense with the training obviously. I’ve got pre-season next week, so it’ll be focusing on fitness and stuff, rugby is all about endurance training, so it’s going to be full on.

“A mixture of sport and gym is what keeps my body the way it is.”
