Russell Tovey on The Pass underwear scenes: ‘It’s all Tovey’
By Will Stroude
If you’ve seen anything about Russell Tovey’s new film The Pass, you’ll know that he spends a considerable amount of time in just his underwear for his starring role as a professional footballer struggling with the sexuality.
In fact, if you’ve seen anything of Tovey in any of his work you’ll know that he doesn’t seem to have much of a problem stripping down to his pants full stop. But if you thought the Looking star used any props or camera tricks to bulk up the bulge, you’d be very much mistaken.
“It’s all Tovey time”, he joked to the Metro. “That’s all my fruit and veg down there.”
And a magnificent vegetable medley it is, Russell.
Of course, in light of this recent admission, it’s only right that we re-examine the evidence. Check out the “fruit and veg” below, and don’t forget to read our review of The Pass, which hits cinemas on Friday (9 December).
