TikTok stars Nicky Champa and Pierre Boo are married
Influencers Nicky Champa and Pierre Boo secretly married in Las Vegas this August.
TikTok stars Nicky Champa and Pierre ‘Boo’ Amaury Crespeau privately married in Las Vegas, Nevada this summer.
Champa – 27 years old from Dallas, Texas – and his now-husband – 36 years old and born in Paris, France – have 12.6 million and 13 million followers on TikTok respectively.
Tying the knot in August, records show that TikTokers Champa and Crespeau took each other’s last names, TMZ reported.
The couple has been sharing their lives on social media since 2017, garnering a growing fanbase with their joint social media accounts and they then started TikTok careers soon after harbouring an audience on Instagram.
Posting a healthy mix of thirst traps and saccharine romantic content, with a joint 25 million TikTok followers the pair garner millions of viewers on their fashion, travelling and personal videos.
On their joint YouTube channel, with 1.3 million subscribers, the pair document their life together from moving into travelling the world.
As well as being an influencer, you may recognise Champa from his appearance in the 2020 zombie horror-thriller film Deadlocked as well as his one-episode inclusion in the 2014 comedy show Astrid Clover.
In an interview last year, the ‘it’ couple revealed they met at a movie audition in Hollywood and instantly felt a connection, so much so they moved in together a month after meeting.
“We never felt like we had a good representation of a happy, healthy queer couple. When I was growing up, it constantly was stories being told of suffering and pain — that we had to go through this negative journey through life,” Champa told NBC News.
“I was like, ‘I’m sick of that. That’s not helpful for me. I don’t want to put that out there. I want to portray happiness’,” he continued.
