Tom Daley gives an update on his new Olympic partnership ahead of qualifiers
Tom Daley has posted a new video updating fans on the progress of his efforts to qualify for this year’s Olympic Games in Rio with his new training partner Dan Goodfellow.
“The more we get to train together, the more comfortable we get with each other, so that we can forget about each other when we’re diving, and just focus on individual diving, which makes it a lot easier when we get into synchonised diving competitions,” he says.
“We are really a new pairing, which is all the more reason for us to train together.”
Time to get inventive. @dannielgoodfellow

Last month, Daley and Goodfellow were crowned winners of the 10m synchro competition in a set of unique circumstances, when they took the title as the only competitors in their category.
Now the duo have set their sights on qualifying to represent Team GB at the 2016 Rio Olympics, which is now less than six months away.
“The more training we do together, hopefully the better we’ll get, and to do that we have start on the dry drive, where we practice our somersaults, and then we move it all into the pool,” he says.
“The chance we have to qualify is at the World [Diving] Cup in Rio de Janeiro, and we’ll be competing on the 19th and 20th of February.
We have complete faith in you Tom!
