Tom Hardy has “no shame” over his raunchy old MySpace photos
By Will Stroude
It’s long since been shut down, but Tom Hardy says he has “no shame” about the raunchy, underwear-clad MySpace photos that continue to haunt him (and our internet search bar) to this day.
The 37-year-old’s new film Legend, in which he plays bisexual gangster twins, opens in UK cinemas today (September 9), and despite rumours circulating that he’s first in line to replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond, all anyone seems to want to talk about are the painfully (hot) mid-noughties selfies which are once again doing the internet rounds.
“I’ve got no shame about my Myspace photos”, the Mad Max star told Sky News. “Especially the one of me in my underpants, which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat.”
He added: “In my tighty-whitey budgie smugglers. In America they say you should be ashamed of this, but I’m actually not remotely ashamed – that is me in my natural habitat, thank you.
“I might not be an Adonis, but I like to think of myself as an Adonis in that photo.”
Tom Hardy, teaching us all how to learn to love our early-day seductive door-lean photos. Empowering. Inspiring.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, things have only gone up in the photography stakes for the London lad since these images were taken, and we recently took a look at some of the hottest especially for you guys – click here to take a look.
