Trans male model Laith Ashley is our new Insta-crush

With almost 30,000 Instagram followers, handsome 25-year-old model Laith Ashley de la Cruz is starting to make waves in the fashion industry.

He’s represented by New York’s first transgender modelling agency, Trans Models.

The muscular 25-year-old with designer stubble and emerald green eyes says he isn’t sure how many modeling gigs await him, but that he views signing with Trans Models as a ‘humanising’ opportunity. “I want to show the world there’s not just one way to be trans, just like there’s not one way to be anything,” he told The Atlantic.

Brought to our attention by our pals over at The Gaily Grind, the model started making waves in the industry when he appeared in Barneys’s ‘Brothers, Sisters, Sons & Daughters’ campaign.
