Watch | Shirtless rugby studs deliver in-flight safety demonstration
By Will Stroude
Anyone who’s a regular air traveler is probably guilty of not paying a great deal of attention to the obligatory in-flight safety demonstration. From locating the exits to what to do when the mask comes down, you could probably re-enact the whole thing it yourself without a great deal of help.
Perhaps aware of this, one flight crew seemingly took matters into their own hands on a domestic Australian flight, when after delivering the demonstration themselves they allowed members of the Northwest Polecats rugby team to perform their own demonstration – sans shirts – to the understandably enraptured passenger.
The team were apparently flying back to Sydney from a match in Cairns when video was filmed back in 2011, Towleroad reports, but as it’s doing the rounds again, it really begs the question as to why this hasn’t been introduced as standard on all flights – we’re nothing if not safety conscious, after all.
