1. Christian Lacriox

4. Julien Maconald
Not content with merely conquering the world of fashion – he has worked as head of knitwear at Chanel as well as creative director of Givenchy, in addition to launching his own hugely successful eponymous label AND being awarded an OBE – Julien Macdonald has set his hand to a homeware takeover too. He’s got the ‘Star’ range at Debenhams, that’s consistently bringing out flashy home accessories (such as animal-print candle holders), and has launched a range of super-stylish wallpapers for Graham & Brown. 5. Calvin Klein

Of course, these aren’t the only high-end fashion houses lending their creative hands to a spot of interior design – everybody’s at it. From the perennially popular Armani – who take their interiors so seriously, they’ve launched several hotels decked out exclusively in their wares, to the never understated (but always fabulous) likes of Versace and Roberto Cavalli, there’s a designer range of fashionable home buys to suit all tastes. Alas, the same can’t be said for budgets, but finding, saving up for, and investing in one key piece could turn your kitchen into a catwalk. What’s not to love about that?
