Gay beach festival TropOut to be held in New Caledonia for 2017
By Will Stroude
After an unforgettable launch event in Phuket back in April this year, LGBT beach festival TropOut announces that the next event will be taking place in New Caledonia in May 2017.
With the ecstatic gay festival revolving around a ‘chill, party & explore’ concept, they’ll be taking it to the beautiful French colony from 6-13 May 2017 to provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
TropOut’s Managing Director Aaron Zoanetti said: “New Caledonia offers everything we look for in a destination – stunning beaches, warm weather, rich culture, amazing cuisine, tolerance and unique venues to host TropOut parties.
“We want to capture the essence of our launch event and take it to a whole new level in one of the world’s most spectacular settings.”
He added: “We’ve found a private island, a day-club floating above the reef and a even club that rises out of the lagoon like a hut in the Maldives to host our parties. Some of them can’t really be described in words.”
After touching down, guests will be staying at the spectacular Chateau Royal Beach Resort & Spa, located on a peninsula on the southern end of the island (pictured above).
Just like the last event, guests are welcome to do whatever their heart desires, inspiring local cooking classes and breathtaking sightseeing trips during the day. But TropOut comes into its own with sophisticated theme parties by night.
Packages to attend TropOut New Caledonia will be released for sale on August 10.
