2014 Brit Nominations announced
This year’s Brit Awards nominations have been announced.
Leading the pack are Pompeii hitmakers Bastille and dance duo Disclosure, who both bag an impressive four nominations.
The recipient of the Music prize at last year’s Attitude Awards, Ellie Goulding, hasn’t done too badly either, earning a nomination for British Female Solo Artist and appearing twice on the singles nominations list with Burn and her Calvin Harris collaboration I Need Your Love.
Other artists competing for prizes this year include former Attitude cover stars Lady Gaga and John Grant, as well as Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Lorde, Pink and Haim.
The awards will be handed out at a ceremony at London’s O2 Arena on February 19 and will be broadcast live on ITV. Katy Perry, Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, Bastille and Rudimental have all been confirmed to perform on the night.
