3,000 guys join online sex party after coronavirus forces closure of London venue
After COVID-19 closed London’s naked gay party SBN, the organiser found a way to host it online.

Whoever says social distancing was boring clearly hasn’t joined in with a mass naked party via webcam.
That’s what happened when weekly naked gay party SBN (stark, bollock naked) decided that the fun didn’t have to stop despite the COVID-19 pandemic closing their usual south London venue.
Organised by club promoter Jamie HP, a digital version of SBN was held, with over 3,000 guys joining in via video chat – five times the number of the usual 600 who attend in person.
As with a normal SBN, there were DJs and live performances (by couples self-isolating together), and all attendees had to be naked in order to take part.
However, unlike normal SBN events, there was no entry fee, and DJs and performers didn’t charge for their time.
Speaking to Gay Star News, Jamie HP said he upped the numbers that could take part after realising it could prove popular.
“At one point we had 800 people online, although only 100 people could see each other at the time,” he said.
“I was running around like a blue-arsed fly trying to make it work. It was a real learning curve but it can only get better.”
Jamie HP is planning to continue hosting virtual SBN parties weekly, and is considering which of its other events – such as sports, leather and rubber parties – could operate in a similar fashion during the COVID-19 lockdown.
As if a global health crisis would stop a good old naked party…
