Alan Cumming to host inaugural Attitude Pride Awards
Attitude Magazine is delighted to announce award-winning actor Alan Cumming will host its inaugural Pride Awards at the end of this month. Supported by Delta Airlines, the Pride Awards will take place on Friday 26th June at the prestigious Grosvenor House, Park Lane. The invitation-only event will also benefit Pride in London.
The awards will honour members of the community who embody the spirit of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride. A total of twelve awards will be presented to real people, facing real challenges with strength and dignity and/or helping the LGBT people in the community without fanfare or fame.
“I am so excited to be able to come back to London and be a part of Pride 2015. It’s been a great year, especially for the T part of LGBT, and I look forward to celebrating but also rallying the troops for the continued fight to full equality for all,” says Cumming himself.
Attitude’s editor, Matthew Todd, says: “Alan’s one of the most iconic LGBT people in the world. We couldn’t be more thrilled that he will be leading us in paying tribute to a group of everyday inspirational LGBT people. With his warmth and wit he is going to be the icing on the cake of what promises to be an amazing evening.”
