Anderson Cooper breaks down during tribute to Orlando victims
Gay news anchor Anderson Cooper erupted into tears during a tribute to the Orlando victims during a live segment for CNN.
Upon starting the tribute, Cooper said, “They are more than just names. They are people who loved and were loved. They are people with families, friends and dreams. The truth is we don’t know much about some of them but we want you to hear their names a little bit about who they were.”
Cooper breaks down and is reduced to tears as he reads the names of the 49 victims.
The full segment entitled ‘Remembering the Victims’ also included interviews with some of the survivors.
