Anti-LGBT church evicted after posting homophobic sign
The Remnant Fellowship Church in Indiana urged all LGBT people to repent to God

An anti-LGBT church has been evicted after posting a homophobic sign during Pride month.
The sign was posted in front of the Remnant Fellowship Church in Indiana – the hometown of renowned homophobe Vice President Mike Pence – and it read: “LGBTQ is a hate crime against God. Repent”.
LGBT+ activists planned to protest but the church has now taken down its Facebook page and it’s no longer in its location, according to The Raw Story.
Tammy Kessler, who lives in the area, told News Channel 15: “I just wanted to come and look and check the sign out and they were gone. The sign and everything.”
Despite the backlash towards the sign’s message, the church leader defended the message that all LGBT+ people should repent.
Church elder Robert Sturges told News Channel 15: “We’re trying to reach a certain group of people.
“They’re being told in our culture that homosexuality, transvestites, lesbianism and sexual immorality is ok.
“But the Bible clearly says that those who practice these things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
“In fact, it warns them that the wrath of God will abide upon them. And in the judgment, they will be lost and they will be sent to hell forever.
“We believe that. That’s our faith. We do love them. But we want to warn them that they are headed toward a cliff and if they keep going that way, they’ll be destroyed.
“And that is what the sign is about. Even the schools are telling the kids, ‘Go ahead and experiment’.
“They’re going to destroy kids at young ages. They’re opening themselves up to disease and mental illness and making them the enemies of God, who calls them to sexual purity.
“That’s why we put the sign up.”
