Beyoncé, Jay Z Grammys 2014 performances confirmed

Beyoncé and Jay Z will perform at the 2014 Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 26), it has been confirmed.

The couple will take to the stage for what appears to be individual performances during the first hour of the awards ceremony.

Over the weekend, it was rumoured that the Drunk in Love singer and Madonna would be giving surprise performances at the event, but Madonna’s appearance has yet to be confirmed by organisers.

Beyoncé and Jay Z’s performances were confirmed during a commercial for the Grammys on the CBS network, which will air the awards this weekend.

Beatles stars Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will also reunite for a performance, with performances from Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Lorde.

Meanwhile, Daft Punk will be joined by Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers for a special performance.

The 56th annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
