Boy George finally addresses claim he slept with Prince
After causing headline controversy around the world last October, Boy George has admitted that he didn’t once sleep with Prince, who passed away last month (April).
Boy George was a guest on The Wendy Williams Show yesterday (May 25) and was quizzed on the rumours, which came to light during a conversation with fellow coach Paloma Faith on The Voice UK.
When asked by Wendy about the shocking statement, the 54-year-old was quick to dismiss the story, saying he was ‘joking’ when he made the remarks.
“Of course that’s not true. It was a joke.” Boy George explained to Wendy, explaining that he only made the joke to try and persuade a contestant to join his team. He went on to jokingly admit that he did sleep with a poster of Prince under him, however.
“I’m a massive Prince fan. I met him once in Italy and he was suitably eccentric. He was exactly what you’d expect him to be. He was Prince!” he continued.
