By Fabio Crispim

Andre Fuentes was a renowned choreographer, dancer and longtime collaborator of Britney Spears, featuring in both live performances and in music videos such as ‘I’m A Slave 4 U’, ‘Sometimes’, ‘Born To Make You Happy’ and more.

A rep for Fuentes confirmed to PopCrush that the professional dancer was found dead on Tuesday (May 31) at the age of 40.

Jim Keith, from The Movement Talent Agency, said, “He was a dear friend and long time client and will be missed terribly.”

Fuentes also choreographed several memorable dance routines for Spears, including ‘Womanizer’ and ‘Circus’.

He also worked with Beyonce, No Doubt, and choreographed Prince’s video for ‘The Greatest Romance That’s Ever Been Sold’.

Talking about Fuentes back in 2008 for her documentary For The Record, Spears said: “He’s just amazing. He gets me. And he knows what makes me look great, and that’s why I like him.”

Debbie Reynolds, the owner of the dance studio where he worked, said: “We are saddened by the loss of Andre Fuentes, whose light shined in our studio for over 20 years.

“He was a remarkable dancer and a true talent and he will be loved and missed forever.”

Fans, friends, and former co-workers have written personal messages on their social media for Andre.
