A 13 year-old’s text message to her older, gay brother has gone viral online.

The openly gay man posted a screenshot of a text message he received from his younger sister, Paige, on image hosting website Imgur this week. In the message, she explained that her religious studies teacher had told her that “it’s not right” to be gay if you’re Catholic.
