Cheryl brands Louis Walsh “sick” for questioning malaria diagnosis

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has branded Louis Walsh “sick” for apparently questioning her malaria diagnosis.
The I Don’t Care singer has hit back at her fellow X Factor judge, saying that he fuelled rumours that her life-threatening battle with malaria in 2010 was fabricated for publicity.
When asked about people questioning her illness in the latest issue of Attitude, Cheryl says: “I think it was Louis Walsh. It’s sick. And it made me question humanity. I really lost faith in humanity for a long time.”
She continues: “Not that I care anymore but at the time I was devastated. Sometimes, even now, I hear things about me and think, the person who is writing this, or saying it, you have to be sick in your f***ing head to even conclude that about me.”
The 31-year-old adds that although the Irishman has since apologised, he’s not someone she will ever rely on again.
“I mean who thinks that I sit on X Factor and pretend to cry. You’ve got to be mental. Louis has apologised profusely since,” she says. “Because when I was on Piers Morgan, they had the top doctor from the tropical diseases unit at the hospital, talking about how poorly I was.
“But Louis wouldn’t have cared to have asked anyone the facts. He is what he is. And I accept him for what he is. He’s not somebody I would call tomorrow if I was in a crisis. He’s just Louis.”.
