Colton Underwood’s grandma helps him find guys on Tinder in adorable video
The former star of The Bachelor says his grandma told him: "I want someone to make you very happy."

The former star of The Bachelor, Colton Underwood has shared an adorable video of his Nana helping him to filter the good profiles from the bad ones on dating app Tinder.
We should all be so lucky!
Underwood, 29, came out publicly as gay in April in an interview with Good Morning America, after landing a Netflix reality show about adjusting to life as a gay public figure.
Gay Guide is due to air on Netflix in autumn 2021 and will star US Olympian Gus Kenworthy as Underwood’s so-called ‘gay guide’.

In a new video shared by Underwood on Instagram, the reality star is seen sitting with his gran and introducing her to the delights of 21st-century digital dating.
Underwood’s gran tells her grandson to slow down as he scrolls through profiles too quickly, offering comments such as “he looks happy” and that one profile “looks a little older”.
While we can’t see what appears on the screen, we can only assume Underwood’s gran gets a full introduction to what you may find in people’s profiles when she gets a little shock after rejecting several profiles. “No, no, definitely no, no, no, Oh, God!”
Colton’s grandmother is seen laughing for much of the video, which is probably the most appropriate response to Tinder scrolling, while also saying “no” to most of the profiles she sees. Only one lucky person gets a “maybe”. That sounds about right.
At the end of the video, Colton asks his grandmother if she “understands why I’m single?” to which she responds, “yeah”.
“We all need a nana in our lives”
In the caption for the post, Underwood says: “my nana is picky, honest and blunt but after we stopped filming she said ‘I’m not going to let you settle, you deserve the best and I want someone to make you very happy.’ We all need a nana in our lives” Do you think she’d mind helping anyone else out?
In another recent post Underwood shared an image of himself with his ‘gay guide’ Gus Kenworthy sat on top of him (in a family-friendly way). The star has received criticism for his upcoming show – Gay Guide – with some saying the reality star is profiting off his coming out and taking a platform away from someone more deserving.

Underwood first shot to fame on reality shows The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, where he was marketed as the ‘virgin bachelor’. In an interview with Variety last month, he said had used Grindr, visited gay spas, and “hooked up” with guys before the show was filmed.
He’s also shut down “inappropriate” fan questions over his sex life after being asked in a Q&A, “How many guys have you done things with?”
In his response, Underwood said he had “set boundaries” around his private life.

In September 2020, Underwood was alleged to have stalked and placed a tracking device on his ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph’s car leading to a restraining order against him. This was dropped two months later, as reported by Variety.
Addressing the allegations, Underwood told Variety: “I did not physically touch or physically abuse Cassie in any way, shape or form. I never want people to think that I’m coming out to change the narrative, or to brush over and not take responsibility for my actions, and now that I have this gay life that I don’t have to address my past as a straight man.
“Controlling situations to try to grasp at any part of the straight fantasy that I was trying to live out was so wrong.”
