Elizabeth Warren has become the LGBTQ ally that we all need and deserve after delivering an hilarious response to a question on gay marriage.
The Massachusetts senator has risen steadily in the polls ahead of the US Presidential campaign and has been backed by the likes of Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness and is now a serious challenger to early frontrunner Joe Biden as the Democratic party’s candidate.
And during a televised event in Los Angeles, the candidate became an icon after giving the perfect response about gay marriage.
When asked by a participant: “Let’s say you’re on the campaign trail and a supporter approaches you and says, ‘Senator, I’m old fashioned and my faith teaches me that marriage is between one man and one woman.
“What is your response?”
The politician then hit back with the best response and said: “Well, I’m going to assume it’s a guy who said that.
“And I’m going to say… then just marry one woman. I’m cool with that!”
After a brief pause for applause, she continued: “Assuming you can find one!”
The whole room erupted in laughter at her response and the politician has now got our backing!
