Ellen Page meets Orlando survivors in heartbreaking episode of ‘Gaycation’ – WATCH
By Will Stroude
Ellen Page and friend Ian Daniel have been on a personal journey exploring various LGBTQ cultures around the world on a documentary series Gaycation for VICELAND.
A trailer has been released for the series’ Orlando special, paying tribute to those affected by the mass shooting that occurred in June, where 49 people lost their lives.
The clip above shows Page and Daniel get emotional as they hear the stories from the friends and families of the victims, as well as the survivors of the Pulse nightclub shooting.
“Everybody around this job stood around and we just heard ‘da da da,’ I’m like ‘Oh my God, they’re like shooting in here” a survior says as he recalls what happened to the pair.
Gaycation Presents: Orlando will air on August 24, with the second season of Gaycation premiering on September 7 on VICELAND.
