Elton John denies sexually harassing former bodyguard
By Ben Kelly
Sir Elton John has strongly denied claims of sexual harassment made against him by a former bodyguard.
Yesterday it emerged that Jeffrey Wenninger was suing the pop legend for touching him inappropriately, and abusing him verbally.
In the suit, he claims that Elton told him to “get your todger out” and to “say hello to Uncle Elton.”
He alleges that multiple other incidents took place during his time working for the ‘Rocket Man’ singer between 2002 and 2014, causing him “to suffer extreme pain and mental anguish to his mind and body.”
Today, Elton’s lawyer said Wenninger was nothing but a “disgruntled” former employee, “seeking to extract an undeserved payment”.
Orin Snyder, a US lawyer representing the star’s Rocket Entertainment Group added, “These claims are patently untrue and contradicted by numerous previous statements made by this plaintiff.”
He concluded, “We will not give in to his latest abuse of the legal system.”
