Eric Trump confirms he’s not in fact ‘part of’ the LGBTQ community and it’s all very awkward

Eric Trump, the son of US President Donald Trump, has walked back comments he made earlier this week about being “part of” the LGBT community.
Trump said in an interview with Fox & Friends on Tuesday: “I see it every day. The LGBT community, they are incredible.
“You should see how they’ve come out in full force for my father every single day.
“I’m part of that community. We love the man. And thank you for protecting our neighbourhoods, thank you for protecting our cities.”
After attracting much ridicule online, the 36-year-old said in a statement to the New York Post: “To clarify, many of our close friends are part of the LGBT community, which was the intent of my statement,” the 36-year-old said. “The left has taken that vote for granted for a long time and support from the gay community for my father is incredible.”

“As to me personally, as I think you know, I am a happily married man to my wife, Lara.”
Trump also confirmed to the publication that he is not bisexual.
Well, we’re glad that’s cleared up.
Trump married Lara, with whom he has two infant children, in 2014.
The comments follow Donald Trump’s explosive debate with Democrat nominee Joe Biden this week ahead of the presidential election on 3 November, and last week’s New York Times report about the Republican leader’s tax records.
