Europe’s longest-running LGBT choir The Pink Singers for new London show
Europe’s longest-running LGBT choir, The Pink Singers, are promising a evening of glitz and glamour at a one night only concert to be held in London’s Cadogan Hall on Saturday 4th June.
The choir, which was formed in 1983, will showcase numbers from the West End, Broadway and Opera, featuring songs from some of the greatest musicals – Les Miserables, Wicked, Anything Goes and Little Shop of Horrors.
The group will also be performing works by Verdi, Rossini and Sondheim, all interpreted in British Sign Language on the night.
The Pink Singers are made up of over 80 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people, from a diverse range of backgrounds, united by a passion for singing great choral music.
They aim to promote education in the art and science of music and equality and diversity for the public benefit, with particular reference to the LGBT community.
