Gay couple bullied by racist and homophobic trolls tie the knot in beautiful ceremony
By Micah Sulit
Haters gonna hate, but that didn’t stop the couple at the centre of a cyber-bullying storm earlier this year from getting their happy ending.
Noparuj Mond Kaendi, an ex-creative director of a Thai modeling agency, and model Thorsten Mid were targeted by racist and homophobic internet trolls when a photo of them holding hands in a Bangkok skytrain went viral back in April – but we’re delighted to report that the couple are now officially hitched.
The pair – who have been together for two years and also go by the portmanteau ‘Mondsten’ – tied the knot in Aachen, Germany last Friday (October 30), according to Inquirer.net.
Natch, the newly-weds shared some appropriately adorable wedding snaps on their individual Instagram accounts.
