Gay North Carolina waitress ‘tipped’ with Leviticus Bible verse
According to WBTV, a gay North Carolina waitress, who works at Zada Jones in Charlotte, was shocked by a nasty surprise instead of her usual tip.
On Tuesday morning, 20-year-old Alexandra Judd was left with the Bible’s Leviticus 20:13 verse on a receipt after serving a group of women.
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with woman, both of them have committed an abomination,” the verse reads. “They shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
The women also left a message for Judd at the bottom of the receipt that said: “Praying for you!”
Talking to WBTV, Judd said that she was infuriated and hurt by the message.
“I’ve heard of people leaving fake money, or writing funny stuff in the tip spot of a check but never believed it would happen to me, in the way that it did.”
Judd posted a photo of the receipt on Facebook and wrote: “I don’t care what anyone says, this is the most disrespectful thing you can do.”
“Don’t pray for me darling, I have everything I could possibly want and need in my life.”
