George Lopez gets crowd to chant a homophobic slur against Donald Trump

By Micah Sulit

During a recent stand-up performance, US actor and comedian George Lopez decided to lead his audience in a chant against Donald Trump, who recently made headlines for his derogatory remarks about Mexican immigrants.

Unfortunately, Lopez decided to take aim at the business tycoon using the word “puto” – widely considered an anti-gay slur. Depending on the context, it can mean “gay”, “male prostitute” or the even more loaded “fag” or “faggot”.

“This country is better with Latinos in it,” Lopez declared, before getting the crowd to chant “Donald Trump – f*ck that puto!”
