Girl shuts down homophobic aunt who called her a f*ggot in epic style
By Ben Kelly
A teenage girl’s text exchange with her homophobic aunt has gone viral, after she posted the screen shots on her Twitter page.
The girl, called Charlie, shared the text message she received from her aunt Marie, in which she is seen trying to explain why she previously used the word ‘faggot’.
She writes, “I try to understand this bi shit you claim to be but you teenagers make stuff up all the time.” She then asks that Charlie not attend her daughter Indie’s birthday.
Charlie then replied with this incredibly sassy put down.
It seems the response from the rest of the family was then fairly explosive.
But Twitter decided it loved Charlie, and that it did NOT love aunt Marie.

Charlie has since written on her Twitter to assure people she didn’t stage the argument, or make it up.
“Why would I use homophobic abuse against MYSELF for 10 seconds of Twitter fame?” she wrote.
“having it blow up feels horrible what I said to my aunt was horrible and I’ve never done anything like it before I just snapped….When you’re being called a f*ggot by your own family there’s only so much time before you react”
