Grindr now has its very own clothing line
By Will Stroude
Who would have thought that the gay hook-up app Grindr would be coming out with its own clothing line?
In the past the app has worked in collaboration with Diesel and J.W. Anderson to bring out a range of clothes, but now it is out its own.
The brand’s Varsity Line features 29 sportswear clothing ranging from shorts, joggers, tops and swimwear. The clothes draw on inspiration from the LGBTQI+ community and Greek designs.
The reason behind the launch is to raise awareness and funds for two LGBT charities; Athlete Ally and the Principle 6 campaign.
The Principle 6 campaign against the anti-gay laws and anti-LGBT discrimination in Russia that go against the Olympic values of inclusion.
The profits from the clothes go to Athlete Ally, which is non-profit organisation set up to provide awareness, education and tools to help spread inclusivity in sports.
The clothing line ranges from $25 to $130 in collaboration a custom imagery e-shop Print All Over Me.
